The lead story 'Going with the Flow' is, in my opionion, the best article for some time - more dramatic than Bad Day at Tuross Bar, yet with all the humor of Deck Bag Mk11. 

In this article, Norm Sanders recounts a 10 day voyage from Tathra via Eden to Malacoota, stopping over at the beautiful Nadgee Wilderness reserve. We learn how Fishkiller  got his nickname and that skinny dipping in a national park a might just get you arrested.

Ross Winters writes about a trip down the Gordon and Franklin rivers (note they flew up first which is cheating). This article serves well as planning for any future paddlers.

David Whyte's article Entertaining the locals at Bermagui  is less in sea kayaking and more on watching his kayak drifting onto some hard places (after he got out of it). Fortunately someone videoed it and he at least got a nice memento.

 Paul Caffyn has a fine article on offshore winds and how deceptive circumstances can be: If caught in a sudden or gradual change to an offshore wind, turn tail immediately and run for the beach or nearst shlter. Sea conditions will deteriorate as the wind continues to blow offshore". Words from one of our most experienced paddler.

Reproduced from Atlantic Monthly is an article on Steve Sinclair, as a Storm-Sea Skier. Steve was a trail blazer of paddling in extreme conditions - what ultimately gave rise to the Tsunami Rangers. The article draws a vivid picture of storm sea skiing.

(Unfortunately Steve passed away in 1996 of a heart attack - he probably would have made an even bigger impact on the kayaking community, such was his energy)
