What is my grading and how can I change it?
Your profile lists your club grading. (You need to be logged in to see your profile). The paddler grade is an indication of the expected experience you have and the advertised grade is set by the trip leader. See the article titled Grading System for details on the grading.
If your grading has recently changed or you find it is incorrect contact:
- The Vice President to update your paddler grade (1, 2 or 3). We need validation. Preferably send in a scanned copy of the logbook "Observation Record" or Sea Skills certificate issued by AC. A trip leader may also confirm your paddler grade.
- The Training coordinator to update your PA Qualification and first aid certification details with PDF copies of the appropriate certificates. Note that committee may seek more information if you wish to lead club trips.
