‘Welcome to the Club’ paddle – Port Hacking

When: 18 Jun 2017
Where: Bonnie Vale, Royal National Park
Grades: 0 to 2

Are you a new, or newish, member of NSW SKC?  If so, then here is an opportunity for you to find out more about our club while exploring the waters of Port Hacking.  Depending on conditions, we may even head out to sea.  You’ll get the chance to ask questions, and to chat with two long-term club members.

If you are at Grade 0, we could arrange time for your wet exit and 50m swim.
If you are a Grade 1 paddler, we may be able to work on a few of the skills needed to get to Grade 2.

Read the club paddler grading system and equipment information.

Spaces are limited.

Meet at Bonnie Vale, Royal National Park, picnic area carpark at 9.00am, ready by9.30am

If you don’t have a NSW National Parks permit, you will need to get a day permit ($12 per vehicle).  These can be bought at the servo in Bundeena.
Bring some morning tea and lunch.  We’ll be aiming to stop at a beach or two.

NOTE: this session could be cancelled if the weather/wind proves to be unsuitable.
